Picasso and Vollard - The genius and the merchant.

For the first time in Italy, in the halls of the Institute of Sciences, Letters and Arts, 150 works recount the intense relationship between the art dealer Ambroise Vollard and what will become the greatest artist of the twentieth century. From April 6th to 8th July 2012, the Institute of Sciences, Letters and Arts of Venice welcomes the exhibition Picasso and Vollard. The genius and the merchant for the first time demonstrates the long and contested partnership elapsed between the art dealer Ambroise Vollard and Pablo Picasso.
