In 1875 was opened the “Passatge del Crèdit” between Calle Ferran and Baixada de Sant Miquel, across a set of buildings promoted by the Catalan Society of General Credit. The importance of the ensemble is demonstrated by the lavish use of structural elements and ornamental iron, to the point of being considered at the time as one of the best examples of this type of architecture. Nowadays, the Artevistas Gallery keeps intact all the original architectural elements of the building. In the gallery’s current design, we have wanted iron to be the dominant material, both in furniture as well as in the flooring.
